The Solitaire Klondike itself has two game modes, depending on how the cards on the Stock pile are dealt:
SOLITAIRE KLONDIKE. WINDOWS
This is the game that became so widespread thanks to its inclusion in Windows 3.0 back in 1990 and that has since turned into a symbol of procrastination at work, thanks to its popularity among office workers. Nevertheless, whenever Solitaire is mentioned everyone immediately thinks about one variant: the Klondike. There are several variants included in this category, some of which share nothing with the others except for the use of cards to play them. In reality, the name Solitaire does not refer to a specific game. Young and old alike can appreciate the peacefulness this game provides, so suitable when it comes to clearing their minds and winding down in a moment of stress.

Yet Patience involves more physical activity than is normally associated with "puzzle", and actually feels more like a game than the so-called game of Solitaire in which you gradually eliminate thirty-six marbles from a pattern of holes by jump and capture. He asks the question Is Patience really a game or merely a glorified puzzle? "Game" normally implies some form of competition between players, which of course is absent from a solitary pursuit. There are plenty of other styles of the game with names like accordian, clock, colorado, florentine solitaire, flower garden, labyrinth, penguin and triple peaks solitaire. The most popular solitaires are klondike, freecell, spider, golf, pyramid and yukon. There are more kinds of single player solitaire than all other card games together.
